A Philippine idol group that sings Japanese songs, not surprising since many can do that already. But a Philippine idol group that composes their own songs in Japanese is the unique part about them. Yes! They compose their own songs, two of them actually were both original. Their first song “Ashita Wonderful” was released last August 2018, with its lyrics that inspires us to be stronger and make the wall that hinders us into a door that will give way for us to reach our goals.
Now following on their first single comes Aidoru Sozai’s new single now up and ready to be listened by the Sozaity! With the song titled “Sora mo Hareru Kono Yume Wo Shinjiteru Yokatta”. The lyrics inspires the listeners to never give up pushing for your dreams even if you don’t know when it will be fulfilled, push through.
Finally finding the place where they believe they belong in and that is on the stage making people happy with their songs. Not wanting their dream to end thus Aidoru Sozai is born.
For those who are new to Aidoru Sozai. They are an indie idol group formed in the Philippines consisting of members that are cute, hardworking and talented. “Aidoru” meaning idol and “Sozai” meaning ingredients pertaining to them having specific unique traits making their group have their own specific uniqueness as idols and each of them represents as an ingredient and together, their vision of an idol is born making Aidoru Sozai that it is today!
November 25, 2018, the local idol community together with the members of MNL48 celebrated the first handshake event in Movie Stars Cafe, Centris. While enjoying the festivities, some from the community noticed a group of girls with their adorable costumes within the vicinity and along Quezon Avenue overpass shooting a video. At first, they thought that the group were just shooting a video for a project for their school needs while others thought that they were making a dance cover from one of the songs of their favorite idol group but their thoughts were amiss.
Last December 3, 2018, Viva Entertainment in partnership with RTM of Japan introduced PPOP Generation: Boom Ganda! to the entertainment scene. Composed of 45 charming ladies, they went to a thorough training under different well-known coaches such as Ms. Geleen Uegenio, Ms. Sushi Reyes, Mr, Zeb Zuniga, and more leading themselves to the center stage with their lovely personality, unique talent, and dazzling beauty.
With partnership with the producers from the Japanese group, they will adopt the concept of nightly theater shows focusing on the younger generations particularly the knowledgeable in technology generations from 17 to 25-year-old demographic, hoping to construct a fan base in the local entertainment scene.
The group released their first music video single ‘Ikaw Na’ on social media sites and music media platforms and as some from the community watched the video, they recognized that these group of girls last November not knowing that they are making their first music video will be known as the girl group that Viva Ent. will produce. This made conversations within the general audience and the local idol community saying that the group same with the early generations of Filipino girl groups will not click pertaining to the whole concept as baduy and unoriginal while others have a more optimistic view because the group were just starting and they didn’t know their full potential yet. Also the local idol community saw the group as a potential rival to the MNL48 having a balance to the general idol scene.
They performed in the The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2018: Gabi ng Parangal to open the annual ceremony ending the year showing to the audiences what they are capable of.
With their solid foundation in the performing arts and a good support from the management, the only problem they will need to clear is for the proper exposure of the group to their target market audiences. With this, not only they can build-up a fan base locally, they can also make sure that such talented people like PPOP Generation: Boom Ganda! and other talented groups will be known internationally.
Majority of the people when rain occurs feel somewhat gloomy or sad, maybe it’s the lack of Vitamin D or you just want to go out and have fun but can’t because you’ll get wet right.
Hypothetically speaking, there’s you waiting for the rain to stop, then later you stopped hearing the rain and can hear the sounds of birds flapping their wings to fly and the sound of people walking outside meaning the rain has stopped and you know what will appear after the rain stops? Yes, a rainbow!
Don’t you feel good seeing a beautiful rainbow right after a cold rain? That feeling of serendipity and delight as if you’re almost in a state of euphoria just because the rain finally stopped even if though you’re not going out.
Rain makes us gloomy and Rainbows give us joy. The rain can be a metaphor for the problems we come across to, and the rainbow symbolizes hope, harmony, and the guidance of one’s heart desires.
Thus Rainbow Signal came to be, being inspired with the idea that after the rain, it’s a sign to have fun and be happy.
Rainbow Signal, or Niji Shingo (虹信号) is a self-produced, all-girl idol group from Laguna. The members also take vocal lessons under Ma’am Calai and being under her tutelage the members have learned their strengths and weaknesses.
The overall mastermind of Rainbow Signal, Eiji-P seeks to offer opportunities for the members to be in an idol group, develop their personalities and at the same time find enjoyment in performing. Also he seeks to further develop the growing j-pop inspired idol culture here in the Philippines just like the other groups.

Must be familiar with the concept of J-pop idol groups (or is willing to learn about them)

Last June 8 2018, KissBee performed at SMX Convention Center, Pasay City for Toycon 2018. Four (4) Members, Misaki, Rena, Miona and Seika performed on stage.
In God’s help, JKB48 got the best spot to cover their performance. It lasted for about 30mins.
Misaki said that this is their first time here in our country and they really love the filipino people because of the very warm welcome. Sounds basic for us but it’s a pleasure that they appreciate filipino wotas who came at the event to see them perform.
Most of the songs are not familiar to all of the wota who attended but they tried to show the love and support by yelling at their names, improvising chants and waving their colorful light sticks.
Recently, Kissbee releases a video documentary of their stay here in the philippines.
